First Horizon Coliseum at Greensboro Complex is one of those venues that just feels like it’s been part of the city’s fabric for ages. It’s got this surprisingly spacious parking setup that makes catching a big event less of a hassle, no circling around forever, thank goodness. Over the years, it’s hosted some pretty memorable moments, like the 1988 Indoor Track and Field Championships and the groundbreaking 1994 NCAA women’s basketball tournament games, can you imagine being there for that? And it didn’t stop there; in 2007, the arena welcomed the first and second rounds of the Men’s Basketball Tournament, proving it’s still got what it takes to bring college hoops to life.
